LOGO IN MOTION
Objective:
Pick a random animal and make an animated logo based on a specific movement of the animal.
MOODBOARD
I knew from the start that I wanted to make a simple animation with few colors. My keywords were "stealth" and "mystique"
INITIAL SKETCHING
I tried out different ideas such as howling and showing teeth, but ended up with a staring eye (bottom right).
FINAL LOGO SKETCH
MOVEMENT ANALYSIS
I used this video of a red wolf opening its eyes as reference.
Using Photoshop I traced the eye's movement and added a sudden shift in the pupil as if the wolf stares directly at the viewer.
