Meshpot
A Planter with lattice-like gaps to improve airflow and drainage and reduce root rot. The shape has been reviewed and improved to make it easier to output and lower the cost.
Root rot, a common cause of death of houseplants, is caused by overwatering, which damages the roots inside the plant pot. The entire body of this pot is latticed to evaporate excess water and keep the plant in a healthy state. It can also be produced using only FDM-type 3D printers, making it a challenge to produce and sell in small quantities.
格子状に隙間を持たせることで風通しと水はけを良くし、根腐れを軽減することを目的としたポット。形状を見直し、出力しやすくコストを下げるように改良しました。
観葉植物を枯らしてしまう原因としてよくある根腐れは、水をやりすぎて植木鉢の中の根が傷んでしまうことで起こります。このポットは本体全体を格子状にすることで、余分な水分を蒸発させ植物を健康な状態に保ちます。また、FDMタイプの3Dプリンタのみで生産することが可能で、少量生産、少量販売にチャレンジしています。
