Seven Heavenly Virtues

For this project we created a booklet based off of either the seven deadly sins, or the seven heavenly virtues. I chose the heavenly virtues. Each photo had certain criteria for how we got the photo. For example, some had to be found which I got off of Pexels.com. Some needed to be taken ourselves. Another example being, The virtue of kindness needed to be a found photo that included handwritten type. My religious roots and my positivity inspired me to choose the virtues as opposed to the sins. You can see that below. I had a lot of fun with this project. This project was also printed with Newspaperclub.com. Here is the link to my dropmark for a more in depth look at the original images.
This is my cover photo that I found on Pexels.com. It's inspired by the religious painting of The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo.
This is my handmade collage for chastity. The photos were found on Pexels.com as well. The photos I chose to represent chastity were based on traditional symbols for purity. Such as a flower, purity ring. or a white wedding dress.
For kindness I chose to represent kindness by showing an example of helping elderly. I also hand wrote the quote "In a world where you can be anything, be kind." Which I think was fitting.
I used the bible to represent humility specifically a verse in Luke which I underlined. I wrote out the word humility on my notebook as one would when they are taking notes. I felt like this was a creative way to include the written word in the photo, which was a requirement.
Here is the flipsnack of my finished booklet.
