This project was created for my Introduction to Graphic Design (ARTS 222) class. The prompt for this project was to choose any location and create a visually appealing and functional brochure. For my project, as seen in the above pictures, I chose to make a brochure about Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone is one of my favorite places and I really enjoyed finding ways to incorporate the colors and the landscape of Yellowstone into a brochure. The front of my brochure was inspired by one of my favorite views in the park and was drawn on my laptop in Illustrator. For the inside of the brochure I chose to take some of the more neutral tones on the front and carry them throughout the inside to increase repetition but also add some different pops of colors to increase contrast. I wanted to keep the design consistent but also switch things up a little bit and add some different colors and abstract shapes. My goal was to keep things fairly simple but still interesting and pleasing to the eye. I really enjoyed making this project and am happy with how it turned out.
