Deformed Bones
We live in a world where people are under a lot of social pressure to be physically perfect. This artwork represents the lengths people go to change themselves. I grew up taking ballet classes which meant I was in a perfectionist environment. I remember my teachers loosing interest in me when I told them I had scoliosis.
I used x-ray graphs in my composition along with a series of illustrated deformed bones, faces, teeth and hand.
