Urban legend - a type of story that affects every person living in a society. According to Merriam Webster - an often lurid story or anecdote that is based on hearsay and widely circulated as true. In this case, the urban legend of catfishes eating swimmers in deep waters has been transformed to a black, distorted glove-like creature inhabiting author's childhood environment.
First part of work - photo collages (5 images, size - 1.4x2m, digital print on cotton peplum) depicting the character of an urban legend The Walker and its proportions compared to the real environment. The second part - a book (size - 8.5x17cm, leather imitation, embroidery and appliqué) depicting interaction and relationships between the character and a human being.
