Aircraft Recognition Playing Cards

Inspired by an aircraft recognition manual from the 1940's and would be issued as playing to troops in efforts to help them recognize enemy aircraft. I decided to design my own version of these cards but featuring aircraft from not only allied but axis power aircraft as well highlighting some of the more notable and recognizable ones. Using an old manual I created vector images of the planes bottom and side view that would appear on each card. To add a personal and unique touch I decided to designate each different suited ace to a different flying ace from each country represented. I chose the top scoring ace from each country with the highest scoring ace being the ace of spades. All layouts, graphics, and designs were done using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
