These are my sketches that I drew few years back when I was having my holiday. Each of them has a story and I was inspired by things that are in my life. I love to play with pattern, texture, line, shape and size in my drawing, with just black and white in color. In my opinion, if an illustration can stand out in black and white, it will be awesome if you add color into it. So here is it! :)
Rabbit is supposed to be cute and lovely. In this drawing, I have my rabbit to be slightly evil (sorry to say that), because I want to show that things can be good from outside, but not the other ways. So I have claws at the bottom to show the dark side of this rabbit. As for the two creatures at the back of the rabbit, it represents both good and evil that control the mind of this rabbit. The shape behind the rabbit is kind of like a flame, which enhances the overall feeling about evil doing.
As you can see this drawing is about a family of six, which has father, mother, big brother, big sister, little brother and little sister. With smiley faces, it shows they have happiness, joy and peace. This is a family that I always dream of and desire to have. :)
This drawing started off from no where when I was sitting alone and I wanted to play with the curve and line. As I drew, I started to get the figure of a creature that looks a bear which has a hat, two hands and two legs. It looks like it is running with its both hands moving side by side. The drawing in red is the word Rino, on the bottom right. I included some lines in black and red to emphasize the speed of the running creature. Let me know if you can see what I see :)
