UX Design Project (Year 2) - Blackboard Alexa
Welcome to Blackboard Alexa, an extension app for Blackboard which uses Amazon’s Alexa technology to keep lecturers and students informed, up-to-date and connected on the go! The App can be used in conjunction with Blackboard’s current mobile app, and offers a hands free solution for use while driving the commute to and from college!
This app aims to promote a more productive commute and the idea of safe multitasking. The interface is limited to one screen and so it is essentially an audio only app. Once the app is started up there is no need to look at the screen resulting in a safe user experience for drivers.
