Soup is a project that was inspired by Buchstabensuppe (alphabet soup), my comfort food. Being initially a boneless agglomerate of letters and moisture, but in the end always bearing some sort of hidden message, I wanted to exercise my spontaneous sense-making skills by playing noodle soup with the 75.933 pictures on my phone. So I visually ate my camera roll and made impromptu compositions by associating different images, just as I would if I were eating my beloved Buchstabensuppe
