This is my mother in-laws wedding dress from the 1940/50s when Britain was still in the grip of rationing so there was little or no material available for making frivolous cloths. She had cousins in the USA who kindly had the dress made and shipped across.

The dress has survived for nearly 70 years in a box that has moved with us and sadly has become stained, I plan to reuse the material to cover wedding books that I will make for the weddings I shoot.
