This project is about creating a newspaper spread that involves The Seven Deadly Sins or Seven Heavenly Virtues. The goal of this project is to use found imagery (as well as using your own taken photographs) and analogue work to create a printed tabloid newspaper on 55gsm. Here you can find Newspaper Club.
When working on this project I was inspired to create a newspaper surrounded on Tokyo, which is my theme throughout the newspaper. Throughout the entire newspaper the overall topic of discussion is based on modernization and technology. I believe that choosing a city theme that surrounds technology fits well with my theme since cities use bright lights and color palettes to attract attention.

The image used for my cover was found from unsplashed.com. This image had a dark setting with bright lights, I had adjusted the image to make tit darker and made the text more vibrant. "Let's Get Weird" itself sums up the project.
My Gluttony says "Overeating" and the "O" is eating the other letters due to the "O's" dissatisfaction. The word "Overeating" is a neon sign since neon lighting is popular in major cities. The build was all done in Illustrator but had to use photoshop to add a background and shadows to emphasize the text.
Money can make you do many things and I wanted to capture what money would do to people. People tend to show off large amounts of money or high dollar items to the public.
For Pride I wanted to emphasize on ones self opinion of themselves and show that people show only a side of themselves to entertain certain groups.
