For the new Dr. Martens Store in Munich, I was asked to design an unique artwork that should hang over the counter. It should contain the classic Dr. Martens Boot, show the brand colors black & yellow, references to the youth culture and to the city of Munich. 

These were the first three drafts that I sent to the client: 

The client was very happy with my third sketch & wanted some changes: It should show more references to the city & to the Music scene. So I drew some marmor pillars & the Bavaria in the background, like they can be seen on a lot of Munich's classicist Buildings, a cassette, which refers to the latest Munich "Alternative Fakten" sampler.

In the last feedback round, the client wanted the character to be less female and more genderless, & the statue of the Bavaria was a little bit too much in the background.
