Ever since I saw the film "Annihilation", I was completely mesmerized by its strange, surreal beauty. The followings are few attempts at imagining the scene from a short fiction that I'm working on. The entire scene is modeled and rendered in Blender 3D with a bit of color grading in Photoshop.
