BOOGIE WONDERLAND SS2022- this ‘gender-full’ collection has been inspired by the sense of escapism and psychedelia. If I could get high on my DNA- deoxyribonucleic ‘acid’ I would go back to the 70s hippies, the 80s studio 54 and the apocalyptic upcoming where utilitarian clothes and gigantic puffers are needed to survive the climate extremes and other issues of the future. The collection involved in depth research on ‘print on print’ and pictorial research into the history- fashion of the 70s and 80s, and the bands, musicians and actors of those times like Mick Jagger, David Bowie, The Beatles, Cher, to name a few.
