Rainbow Tieflings

Summer of 2020 I decided I needed a fun project that would challenge me a bit in my off time. I wanted a clear set so I tied all the drawings together with three consistent themes: Tieflings, Rainbow, and DnD classes. The class and color provided most of the inspiration behind each design. When the full body drawing wasn't enough I decided to expand each of them a bit with a simplified version that showed them with a different prop.
One of the greatest things about DnD is just how diverse you are allowed to be with the characters you create. You can imagine them not just with unique appearances, but the tools and magic they use can be just as special. That's why I wasn't totally satisfied with just the one version of each character.
I also tried to show a range of different body types and gender expressions, keeping a couple of them fairly ambiguous and androgynous.
Ultimately, this project was important for my growth as a digital artist. I allowed myself to play with color, blushing, and proportions. I got to play with little design choices that set my art style apart. I also got a lot of practice with props, tattoos, and jewelry which I love to add to characters but which also tend to trip me up. Tattoos and jewelry especially add a lot of personality to a drawing and set it apart from others, but I sometimes struggle to decide on how to draw them and style them.
Can you guess which class each drawing is representing?
