Behold! A new pattern! I was really in a cute nature pattern mood, so what can I say?
This is a fully repeating pattern featuring cute little worms and lots of leaves with some floating glowing orbs. Really, just a lot of things that I love.
(Well, I don't really love worms... Only when they're cute like these ones!)
While I was working on this piece, I realized that recently I'd been really policing my artistic process by trying to make it as methodical and organized as possible. It helped with creating this process videos, you know? But it was making me hate my art process.
So I took a step back, took a deep breath, and just let myself work on this piece however I wanted to work on it. I still took shots of how the piece was going periodically, and I don't even know why I was trying to be so organized in the first place. My process still comes across just fine.
You might have noticed that during the process I started over with new colors. The original colors I'd picked just weren't working for me the way I thought they would, so I decided to try something completely different. I went through some of my saved palettes on https://coolors.co/ and chose this pink and purple mix. I'm much happier with how it turned out with this new palette vs. the old one!
