Sedona is a wild and beautiful place.
HOWEVER, it can be absolutely painful with how touristy it is as well. I found that the first two times I went to Sedona, I spent more time in traffic than on the trails AND you'll see more people taking wedding pictures than hiking when you get to the trails as well... So when a work trip popped up with the opportunity to go again, I did a fair amount of research and found the perfect trail (in my opinion). With one of the most stunning views and only a few people out on the trail, this is THE hike to do in Sedona. However, you will not find it on any trail maps and it is known as a local route... So, I wont be the one to tell reveal the secrets!
