Due to the pandemic the 2021 School of Art and Design degree show has been moved online. Titled Kind, the show’s theme is focused on the positive aspects and acts of kindness during the pandemic on the  belongingness and togetherness of the school and students as one kind. 

The visual style is a playful nod to the online streaming software that became the new classroom, the connection, and the creative window to students projects. Smiley faces and reaction elements are scattered around the materials to represent the online discussion and bring a little bit of fun. 

The Degree Show materials were divided into the physical pack that the students received - a small token of celebration for finishing their studies. And the online show - a website embodying all the students work in the playful visual style of the Kind brand.

The logo embodies the loading windows of the video conferencing software.

The website caters to the audiences expectations and experience of video conferencing software, showing the work through ‘shared screen’ with minimal menu that is inspired by the software options visualised by simple icons. 

The site features the student pages as participants on the call separated in respective clusters, just like they functioned during the pandemic year. 

The site is minimal and leads to each action through as little steps as possible.
The leave button takes the visitor all the way to the first page, while the pink close button serves as back button.

The risograph printed booklet (8 page zine format) features a playful poster based on the theme of video conferencing. While the student lists are located in small chat-room like windows of the pages.
