Tax Justice Network is a non-governmental organization established in The UK fighting the global tax injustice since 2003. Their activity map is big and complex, starting form research, analysis and news sharing, to event making and recovery tools development.

Taking over the design of their new website, our aims were separated in two axes; organizing and displaying clearly all the different work their doing, and making the topic of tax injustice appealing and accessible to all visitors.

The content organizing was approached by rethinking the navigation logic and by introducing a color-coded system for every big category. In order to balance the text heavy nature of the website, emphasis was placed on title hierarchy and on content grouping.

The graphics are inspired by the arrow in the TJN logotype, and the dialogue of form and anti-form. Taking this a step forward we designed some groups of geometrical patterns, visualizing the evolution of data as in histograms or heat-maps. The addition of micro-interactions appearing in card hovers and the home page hero banner is there to improve content display and enable narration.
