As a project based on the importance of psychiatric health in recent century, Dar Al-Majanin (i.e. The World of Mad People) is a special care-center focused on one of the most prevalent psychiatric issues, "Schizophrenia".

The main idea of the project was to change the common tendencies and attitudes about those with psychiatric issues, thinking of them as departed souls and abandoning them in cages or some sort of prisons. Unlike those prisons and cells, Dar Al-Majanin is a place where one can stay for a specific period of time until he/she feels like they have recovered and improved and there is no need for them to stay for more.

As Schizophrenia has become a common mental issue in between young people at the era of 18-35 mostly in 3rd generation countries such as Iran, a need for such a place where people can actually recover from their mental bustles, as they learn how to participate in communities and also enjoying their own moments with full privacy is totally what the Dar Al-Majanin might fulfill.
