Using Photoshop, I painted Courage from Courage the Cowardly Dog into this piece by Odilon Redon. The original work of art is titled The Smiling Spider. I wanted to mimic the charcoal strokes of the original painting to make it look like Courage belonged there. This concept of painting pop-culture characters into older pieces is inspired by David Irvine's work.
