Design brief : To design a children bicycle add-ons for "BSA champ kids bicycles" on kids stories and environment.
Age group : 2 years to 8 years
Project name was "Beyond cycling" because I designed children bicycle add-ons which serves even after children done playing with bicycles.
User study was done to know children stories and environmet.
Final concepts were - 1. Chain piacboo, A playful character on chain, which will rotate around chain.
2. Handle desk, A desk on handle bar which will works as desk and also a number plate.
Form exploration.
A mock-up model to give a storage space to the characters that children have. The flap when turned down becomes the number plate of the cycle. It also becomes a small desk for children.
Chain cover exploration was done to know how it will look in the actual bicycle.
Diffrent kinds of characters and form of the chin cover were done to know how it visually look in the bicycle.
