Type Studies
The alignment type project taught me how to align text with in a grid with very strict restraints. This project showed me how to think out of the box and allow me to play with type in a way that isn't seen often.
With the same copy, the hierarchy project made me think about the most important information and how to display that on a page. This project was eye opening because it is really important for designers to understand how to display a hierarchy of information in a simple, eye catching way.
Finally, the extreme scale project made me think about contrast in type. Contrast in type is important when trying to display information because as a visual communicator you want someone to stop what they are doing and look at your design. With extreme scale, you can see here I contrasted large, bold type with thin small type.
