Commemoration of Shiraz's old businesses
I was in the first semester of university when I went to photograph the Dar-al-Salam cemetery in Shiraz, one of the oldest cemeteries in Iran, for a research method course. Iconic images carved from old jobs on tombstones caught my eye from that time until this year I decided to design a project called Commemoration of Shiraz's old businesses.
The Dar-al-Salam project is just a pleasant experience for me right now, which I am trying to make a reality one day. Due to its large size, the project requires the cooperation of organizations such as the municipality of Shiraz's historical and cultural region, professors, students, etc.
This project organizes a conference that deals with the importance of recognizing the old businesses of Shiraz and their historical role on the habits and culture of the people of Shiraz. My goal in implementing this project is to introduce the past dynamics of my city to my generation.
