Our recent design as Infill development in a historical context of Shiraz :
The use of the Infill development in the shiraz historical context has so many challenges because of the traditional morph of the city and cultural values in designing. We searched for different solutions to solve this problem and since the local solution is the best choice for the Infill development, we used the users' ideas and votes to design. The design procedure provides space to make the relation between valuable historical houses in the blank site behinds them in the historical context of Shiraz. According to the design purpose, it was decided to design the site underground to decrease intervention. Also, for using the capacity of this valuable context, it was preferred to use the neighbor historical and derelict houses in our design. according to this, we changed the land use of these houses based on their previous land use to the museum and traditional café. Furthermore, this design provides spaces to introduce historical Iranian art (The shiraz school of miniature) to other people with different cultures. and we created space for the annual award of Shiraz school of the miniature.
