2D and 3D design mostly live in their own worlds, and rarely come together in a fully symbiotic manner. There is a bridge to be built between the two disciplines that can add to the creative making process of both types of design. I built objects out of physical and digital materials, photographed them using light, shadow, and space to play with the spatial dimensions, and then brought the images into a digital space to further push the boundaries of analog vs. digital, 2D vs. 3D making. From here, I created 2 posters, a book, and a set of screen-printed alphabet cards that display this new aesthetic.
