UX Process
(double diamond framework)
Task: Introduce a digital tool to help students track the progress of their studies
Skills: UX research, User journey, User testing & interview, Data analysis, Prototyping, UI Design, Implementation oversight.

This project shows the end-to-end UX process implementing the double diamond framework.
Discovery: This is part of the initial report explaining the identified problem, opportunity, audience, discovery process and activities.
Define: After conducting user and key stakeholder interviews, we were able to synthesise and conceptualise the needs and pain points which gave us the first indications of how the solution could look like (high level). Note that quotes from the interviews are used to validate our hypothesis.

In addition to this, extensive competitor research allowed us to understand how other organisations have implemented similar products.
Development: co-design activities and workshops performed in collaboration with users and key stakeholders such as card sorting, prototyping and user testing allowed us to experiment with different approaches, develop design concepts, identify potential problems and suggest solutions in an agile environment.

After analysing the activities outcomes we ran multiple workshops internally to prioritise the most desired features for the MVP launch.
Delivery: After testing the final concepts and getting approval from the executive team, we used the mid-fidelity prototypes to produced the final designs that were handed to the developers who were updated weekly to make sure the solutions suggested during the end-to-end process were feasible.

We performed rigorous post-production QA checks to make sure all requirements and accessibility standards were met. This project was successfully delivered and the users loved it! 🤓
