El motín es un ejercicio de diseño crítico que nace desde la situación de abandono y desorden que se vive en las cárceles de Colombia. Situaciones inhumanas y un ambiente de pandillas crean una bomba que estalla y se vuelve visible a la opinión pública cada vez que hay un motín. Una situación en la que resultan heridos, desaparecidos y asesinados presidiarios, en ocasiones por otros reclusos y en otras por los mismos guardias. Esta pieza es un incensario que replica la forma de una cárcel, imita el fuego y el humo procedentes de los disturbios provocados por los motines, invadiendo el espacio que habita y haciéndose notar por quienes lo rodean.

"The Riot" is an exercise of critical design that arises from the situation of abandonment and disorder that exists in Colombia's prisons. Inhuman situations and a gang environment create a bomb that explodes and becomes visible to the public every time there is a riot. A situation in which inmates are injured, disappeared and killed, sometimes by other inmates and sometimes by the guards themselves. This piece is a censer that replicates the shape of a prison, imitates the fire and smoke caused by the riots, invading the space it inhabits, making itself known by those around it and making them ask what is happening inthere.
