For this project students were asked to design a movie poster for an event that occurred during their childhood. For my poster, I chose the time in sixth grade when I was caught running an AR reading scam. I was accepting money and gifts from the bookstore in exchange for taking reading tests for other students. In my mind this is a coming of age film with an indie vibe. With this poster I was trying to capture the child-like nature of middle school while also illustrating the themes of the movie through typography and imagery.
