Photography is what the most prevailing thing in this generation is. These days when you read through the papers or the magazines or even the web, the most appealing subject matter is photographs. Photographs do not need any language to be heard or understood, they are widespread. Photography is an art and needs to be learnt. Expert photographers like Yvette Heiser believe that photography is not a limited education, there is no restriction on the knowledge one can attain in it. The picture clicked is the outcome of the efforts put in and how well one takes into account all the factors. To get a memorable capture there are many factors that need to be taken into consideration. Some of which are mentioned below:

Information:

As a photographer, you need to be well-informed about the equipment you are using as well as have a good hold on the camera. You should know what kind of lens can be used at what point of time. You need to be aware of the specifications and potentials of the camera you are using.

Distance from the subject:

Another important factor that determines the quality of the picture is the distance between you and the subject that you are capturing. Depending on the distance, you can regulate the way the camera needs to be used as well as how you want to take the picture.

Light:

While taking photographs, the natural or any other form of lights form an integral part of shooting. It is a lot easier to take pictures in the sunlight as compared to clicking them at night. The amount of light available defines how natural the picture looks and how much clearer and brighter it is. The correct exposure of lights gives a perfect capture.

Angle:

A professional photographer can capture a delightful shot even with an average camera by taking the shot at a correct angle and positioning it perfectly. As mentioned before, if you have the understanding of where the light should fall and which position will highlight the subject, you are a good photographer.

Sharpness:

To get a good photograph, another factor that manipulates the quality of the picture is the sharpness. Sharpness is a  mash of contrast and resolution. The sharper the image means the higher is the resolution of the picture, that means the imagery is less dilapidated, less blurry and contrast is more.

Exposure:

The overall image quality is defined only once the exposure factor is taken into consideration. Exposure means how bright or how dark your picture is. When a picture is taken, the amount of light that reaches the sensor of the camera is called exposure. So, if a picture is exposed to more light then the image is be light and if there is less light then the picture will be dark.

To get the best quality image that one hopes for, these and few other factors need to be kept in mind according to professional photographers like Yvette Heiser
