User Research Modeling for Mobile Parking App

USER RESEARCH MODELING
PARK909 is a smartphone app that makes garage parking easy. It allows users to effortlessly and efficiently enter, exit, and pay for the parking garage. Although the garage is open to any public customer, it will offer a discount to employees of Georgetown University.

To design the app from a human-centered perspective I have conducted research and synthesized the information into various models.

1. The Journey Map was designed to convey insights into user pain points experienced when parking in public.
2. The Interactive Task Sequence provides an opportunity to pinpoint the barriers that arise during the parking experience that cause the pain points and create solutions for them.
3. The User Flow Model provides an opportunity to address pain points in the Park 909 app and craft an experience we want for customers. This helps us visualize those experiences.
