“Exhibition within the exhibition.” The exhibit seeks to explore two terms that represent knowledge, types and token, based on the theory of ‘information-as-things’. Types are examples of pieces of information that are not the same as each other. Tokens are identical copies. This becomes an important term when, for example, we are discussing whether a photograph stored in VR today is the same as a developed physical photograph that is identical to it. Even if they carry the same information, aren't they the same type of token? Or are they of different types?

该展品基于Buckland的«Information-as-thing»的理论，致力于探索和寻找types和token这两种承载知识信息的物联系。Types是指彼此不同的独特的蕴涵着信息的片段，Token则是这些蕴涵信息的片段的代替品或副本。例如，当我们如今讨论在VR空间中的照片展品是否与冲洗或印刷过的实物照片相同时，我们或许会去质疑其一致性。尽管其承载着相同的信息，他们就一定是是同一种type的token吗？我们更或许会去质疑他们还是同一种type吗？
