The Observer Magazine
For this project I had to design a magazine cover, a table of contents, and three spreads for a feature article. There are people that don't realize what's going on in different parts of the world. The article, Dark Crystals tries to bring more awareness to that.
I went for a comic book feel with my illustrations to depict the idea of "two worlds." The feature article, Dark Crystals, talks a lot about one of the poorest countries, Madagascar and how the miners work for the bare minimum digging up the crystals while people in the US and around the world care about "crystal healing."
