Ashrito in Bengali translates to 'shelter'. Now while I picked the title off of a list of Google translate candidates, the meaning is something I wanted to keep true to the content.
Abandoned due to academic disillusionment, but I still hold hope I'll be able to make something into something one day.
STORYBOARDS
(part of trailer)
The narrative follows several parallel storylines, centered around a reunion - rather, a welcomed request for shelter - at an ashram in Birbhaum. Momota meets her worldly pir Satyaki, it's curious about hus city (boy)friend Amir. Amir is reticent and nervous and there is friction between all three due to lack of trust and repression. Little do Satyaki and Amir know, Momota has stories of her own to share, concerning one Adrija Goyal, whose earring she keeps on her headwrap still. She wants to assure them - that the shelter she has granted them is not just physical lodgings, but a safe space for them to be as they are.
