In summer of 2021/2022, inspired in Brazil, the Brooklyn Gelateria is launching their newest flavors and invited me to join the campaign and illustrate this new collection.
Guarana, Passion Fruit and Mint with Chocolate Flakes are the new tasty releases this time!
As a reference, each flavor is a representation of a Hip Hopper.
As it's known, brooklyn is the neighborhood noted by the Hip Hop influence, so as reference, each flavor is a representation of Hip Hopper.
Guarana gives the energy that the B-Girls and B-Boys need, so this flavour is inspired in BreakDance and as a tribute to the first break teacher of Brazil, Deph Paul, it's a reference from a picture of him, taken from a historical archive of Hip Hop.
Passion Fruit is inspired by all the real Graffiti writers, because it can help the artist to maintain calm and keep control of the situation, no matter what is going on.
The flavor of Mint with Chocolate Flakes was inspired by none other than the King of Brooklyn, Notorious B.I.G.!
It was really nice for me to work with Brooklyn Gelateria, making it possible to make cultural exchanges between Hip Hop and flavours of Brazil. Are you still in doubt that this flavours
