When given this project the first thing that came to mind when I thought of the word “boarders” was the actual border. This is very personal for my family and I as it is a very touchy subject. This is a short story of how the border between the U.S. and Mexico divides families, specifically mine. I am showing with pictures how it affects my family and how they stay in communication with them.

 

As for the editing, I decided to keep it simple and just play around with brightness, exposure, contrast and saturation. I wanted to really capture the pictures for what they represent by not adding filters to distract the audience from it.
