For this project I wanted to make movie poster for a book, I chose AKIRA By Katsuhiro Otomo as the material already exists for both film and book (Manga). I went through many versions and ended up with two different looks, one is harsh and use one colour, as the alternate is more colourful.

This is my first version using bright colours, with blur effects in the character to help them stand out.

This is my second iteration, with more stark contrasts drawing more attention to the main character.
