about

For this Editorial I wanted to effectively communicate what the premise of the article is as well as catch the viewers eye as they quickly glance through a magazine or at billboard. The eliminates I used to do this were highlight key works in the title and body text while also using a bright color. The article talks about NASA building an ultraviolet telescope to be able to look at the Goldie Locks Zone to see if the is life. This part of space is very promising considering it is not to hot nor to cold for there to be life. I illustrated these elements through having the telescope look at the planet through a growing purple layer that gets brighter as it comes in contact with un-defined life. As well as, use cool and warm tones on the three planets to represent that there is water on the planets but they are also a warm environment.
Application

This editorial can be used in a magazine about space or science as well as be a billboard in a urban setting to provide material for average passerby.
