This project is a 30 second title sequence for movie 'Baraka' and a CD cover.
Baraka is a documentary film with no narrative or voice-over. It explores themes via a kaleidoscopic compilation of natural events, life, human activities and technological phenomena shot in 24 countries on six continents over a 14-month period.
In terms of design, natural sense is intended by every single element including hand-drawn line illustrations, watercolour background, handwritten typefaces, strong and rough texture of background. The simple layout of elements on screen has been considered for putting a emphasis on watercolour texture, clean line drawings. Using earthy colour palette including blues, greens, browns is giving earthy sense to the audiences.
