The Cornflowers

EN. In december of 2013 I received a request from Alberta, Canada, to draw a couple of cornflowers for a tattoo in an etched/engraved style. I had never drawn flowers before, so it was a real challenge to me, even more being something you have to live with for the rest of your life. After studying like a thousand cornflowers pictures, i grabbed my pencil and the rest is history. Can't wait to see this tattooed! The last image is a color version I did just for fun and it's the only part that was not hand drawn.
ES. En diciembre de 2013 recibí un encargo desde Alberta, Canada, para dibujar un par de acianos o azulejos para un tatuaje. Nunca antes había dibujado flores en serio, así que fue todo un reto, incluso más siendo algo con lo que vas a vivir el resto de tu vida. Después de estudiar como mil acianos, cogí el lápiz y el resto es historia. Qué ganas tengo de verlo tatuado! La última imagen es una versión en color que hice solo por diversión y es la única parte que no fue hecha a mano.
