A supportive, friendly, helpful and fun place sharing local dog related businesses, the best walking trails around, where to get your fur cut and the best treats in town! As well as selling dog apparel and dog themed human apparel!

I started Dogs of CBR as part of a University assignment in 2015 and continued to build it once the assessment had ended because of how friendly and fun the community was. It started as me going to dog parks and chatting to dog owners and taking photos. Eventually it grew to people wanting their dogs to be part of the page and tagging me.

In 2021 I decided to rebrand the page featuring actual dogs of Canberra, and change it from just a photo sharing page to a community focused platform for people to connect, feel valued and a sense of belonging and to share information! I also started working on building a collection of products for dogs and dog owners. This still had a community focused approach as I used local artists and designers to create the patterns, named the sets after Canberra dogs and collaborated with local businesses.
