Project: Synchrotron beam line design
Role: Patient and doctor environment design, key component sizing and selection, CAD, FEA
Our goal was to design a seat for heart imaging placed on a 3-DOF platform precisely controlled with kinematics tuned to keep the patient calm during the procedure as well as perfectly aligned with the X-Ray beam. This environment was part of a larger scheme as our team worked along with 3 other teams to design a complete Synchrotron beam line. This project was done during the X-Ray Beamline Design workshop at Ecole Centrale Paris. http://www.designworkshops.fr/index.php?page=ws-2-x-ray-beamline-design
