is a book about five dogs. They are very different from each other, but united by one thing - their unfriendly behavior. Angry, noisy, depressed, scared, these dogs distance themselves from us humans. However, if we look deeper we can uncover that there is a reason behind every negative emotion. Our new four-legged friends need our patience to trust us and allow us to get closer. With a little care and attention, each dog will reveal his kindness and his "smile".

This is a book about friendship, understanding and empathy. And even though its main focus is to introduce children to the concept of caring for dogs, behind this obvious statement is the idea of trust and equality amongst all people and our animal friends alike.

I was approached by the author of the book in IG as she liked my work and my love for dogs which I often accent on in my drawings. Sabina explained her idea and I was immediately onboard! The project had the goal to educate little children on how to approach dogs and treat them with respect and care, how sometimes a "grrr" can be a cry for help and a plead for attention. I feel this is very important and we need to accent on it as our pets are a big part of our world an can teach children these crucial concepts.

Another important aspect of this project was my goal to donate my earnings to Bulgarian charities who work with animals and wildlife. People in these charities and shelters are my absolute heroes and I feel they need all the support they can get - not only financial, but moral as well! So the educational side of the project works in that direction as well.

We took our time making sure all aspects of the book were handled with attention to detail and soaked with love for the characters and their stories. In the process I can firmly say that I was able to make a new friend - the author of the book - Sabina Georgieva - with whom we shared our stories and mutual love for animals. I want to thank Sabina for taking me on this beautiful journey - the book looks amazing and I hope many children and parents will enjoy its message!<3
