For SS14 I designed and developed the world’s lightest waterproof jacket. Part of the Berghaus Vapourlight collection, this product reset the benchmark for hyper-light performance. The fabric technology was in development for 2 years, the project in total taking 36 months to overcome exisiting manufacturing barriers and create this incredible jacket. Designed to support the Great Himalyan Trail record attempt by Phillippe Gatta the Vapourlight products I designed have recieved multiple industry awards and extensive PR.
