I call myself an amateur, because I'm a self-taught photographer, and mostly use low-quality digital cameras - phone and likewise. The effect is more than interesting: actually it is very difficult to make a good photo with such unproffesionalequipment. But, there was a useful subject in Art highschool, called "Theory of forms" and it taught me a lot about forms, composition, lights, positioning and many more.
Also, I learned a lot practising in different fields. You'll never be able to make such a good photo, unless you know your camera.

So, besides Macro focus, I like to catch bugs and nature life scenes :)
