SHADING TECHNIQUES
In this task, we learn about different shading techniques and an understanding of tonal values.
Here are the different methods of the shading techniques
1. STIPPLING: Here we use dot lines to create value. The closer the dots are, the darker the value becomes.
2. HATCHING: Parallel lines are used in this method to create value. The closer the lines are the darker the value becomes.
3 . CROSS - HATCHING: Lines are intersected to create value. The closer the lines are, the darker the value becomes.
4. SCRIBBLING: Scribbly lines are used to create value. The closer the lines are, the darker the value becomes.

Below are more images of the shading techniques being applied
COMPLEXITIES: Shading requires a lot of effort, patience, and dedication. It was hard for me to achieve the tonal values that I wanted.
LEARNING OUTCOME: I learned about the different methods of shading and the importance of tonal value in shading. And a lot of practice is needed to be able to apply the techniques properly.
