The Voice Of An Eating Disorder.
This video is dedicated to the fight against an eating disorder. I wanted to show what difficulties and small victories a person who suffering from such a disorder has to go through while living their ordinary life.
I want to point out that everything that happens in the video is based on my personal experience of remission from an eating disorder, I would even say that the dramaturgical line in my piece are to show that people with eating disorders (as well as people with other mental illnesses) are no different from other people. Each person has his own internal struggle with his demons, and we can never know what this or that person is going through.
Initially, I thought to shoot my entire project on a phone camera, but after making a small "test drive" of an approximate frame, I realized that my phone's camera is not quite convenient for shooting videos of this format. As a result, I borrowed a gopro camera for a week at university.
Because each of us lives their own life, and each of us goes through their inner struggle and fears, and it is always important to understand that we never know what demons this or that person is fighting. Each of us has bad and good days, the most important thing is just to treat each other with understanding and respect.
