In partnership with Cold Storage, Smacoo is a hybrid and interactive food and drink app that allows users to simply cook food with their leftover ingredients. 

763 million kg of food waste was generated in 2018 - that's the weight of more than 54, 000 double decker buses in Singapore (Towards Zero Waste, 2019). Additionally, international students often struggle in cooking food and deciding what to eat, especially when they are maintaining a budget-friendly lifestyle.

Smacoo aims to promote a more sustainable lifestyle by recycling leftovers and to promote the high-quality products of Cold Storage. Users are able to generate their own recipes based on their existing ingredients or food category. Smacoo offers a variety of products and brands from Cold Storage that gives users the alternative option to shop for groceries, and cover up their missing ingredients through delivery or pick-up from the nearest location.
