Minha mãe é uma mulher incrível, cheia de ideias e minha maior fã.
Um dia, ela veio com a ideia de termos uma arte da família, que representasse tanto ela, quanto meu pai, eu e meus irmãos. Depois de algumas ideias, chegamos a conclusão que o melhor formato seria usar as iniciais dos sobrenomes para desenvolver uma arte abstrata, mas que ao mesmo tempo, quem soubesse o seu significado, identificaria as letras.
O resultado foi essa arte elegante, minimalista e que carrega as iniciais do sobrenome dos filhos (VPR).
Originalmente foi pensada para ser aplicada em cálices de vinho, e foi! Inclusive, o ponto foi desenvolvido para marcar a dose de 150ml. Hoje todos nós temos uma coleção desses cálices. Mas, com o passar do tempo, ideias foram vindo e novas aplicações surgiram como: avental de cozinha, tatuagem, tábua de queijo e camiseta.
Essa história representa o poder que o design tem de transformar a imaginação em algo tangível, nunca se limitando.

My mom is an amazing woman, full of ideas and my biggest fan. One day, she came up with the idea of having a family art, which would represent both her, my father, me and my siblings. After some ideas, we came to the conclusion that the best format would be to use the initials of the surnames to develop an abstract art, but at the same time, whoever knew its meaning, would identify the letters.
The result was this elegant, minimalist art that bears the children's surname initials (VPR).
It was originally designed to be applied to wine glasses, and it was! Even the point was developed to mark the dose of 150ml. Today we all have a collection of these chalices. But, as time went by, ideas came and new applications emerged, such as: kitchen apron, tattoo, cheese board and t-shirt.
This story represents the power that design has to transform imagination into something tangible, never limited. Design is dreaming, transforming and creating!
